L.D.L. Section 'B' 2005:
The season opened with the five main contenders for the title (Llandudno, Conwy, Craig-y-Don, Mochdre & Rhos-on-Sea) all winning their opening match; (at the beginning, though, Llandudno felt that a finish in the top four would be a good season for them). Conwy fell behind after losing their next two matches, with Llandudno starting to break away with five wins out of five. Craig-y-Don kept themselves in the running with steady progress, and Conwy reasserted their position with a home win against Llandudno. With the half-way point in the season about to arrive, it was still anybody's championship with even Llanfairfechan, then in sixth place, having a possible chance. Llandudno fell behind slightly after two away losses, Conwy gaining points and Mochdre & Craig-y-Don maintaining a continuous threat. Llandudno took revenge over Conwy with a home win, and managed to forge a gap away from Mochdre and Craig-y-Don. Finally, it developed into a two-horse race for the title; Llandudno and Conwy had the same points going into their last match. At Colwyn Bay, Llandudno played very well to win 10-2, but Conwy did equally as good to beat Llanfairfechan at home by the same score. Llandudno were pipped for the title on aggregate, one of the closest championship finishes ever. Nevertheless, Llandudno had their best season since they won the Section 'B' championship in 2001.The achievement was all the more emphasised by the fact that the team contains some players who are relatively new to the game. L.D.L. Section 'A' 2006:
The season was as expected, with Llandudno 'B' finishing in last place with quite a few heavy losses. Individually, however, the players excelled themselves with good performances and more often than not reaching double figures with everyone achieving at least one win. The experience was good for the players as they had to play with more concentration and skill against top class opposition and that could only result in improving their game and experience level. This, indeed, was noticed in the N.W.C.L. performances. (Average Winner: Peter Rigby).
C.L.D.L. Section 'B' 2007:
This year saw the first season of the newly formed Colwyn & Llandudno District League. Apart from the Section 'A' teams, nobody really knew the strength of the opposition from the different districts and Llandudno 'B' were equally unaware of the quality of their new opponents. As it proved, the ex Colwyn League teams were of a high calibre and the team struggled from the start. Although achieving a good early home win over Eirias Park 'B', it was basically downhill from then on - crashing away to Betws-yn-Rhos 'A' and losing at home to the Police. A narrow 7-5 home win against Vardre 'A' couldn't disguise the fact that Llandudno 'B' were in the relegation position throughout the first half of the season. The second half went no better, with only a narrow home loss to Betws-yn-Rhos 'A', a win over Craig-y-Don 'B' and a 7-5 home win against Old Colwyn to the teams credit. C.L.D.L. Section 'B' 2008:
A better year than last year, but no great celebrations as the team finished tenth. A poor home draw with Min-y-Don 'B' then three losses to start seemed like bad omens for the season again, but this changed in the team's next six matches where three wins and two draws lifted the side away from the relegation positions. This was how it stayed for the rest of the season with the team notching up two 'double' wins over Rhos-on-Sea 'A' (Frances Forrest: 'We seem to be their ''bogey'' side!' referring to the fact that in our last six meetings with them we've only lost once) and Old Colwyn; an away win at Min-y-Don and a home draw with Conwy 'B', to go with the earlier away one (the team avoided defeat against them for the first time in at least six years).
